Moderation started in 2023, with synth pop roots from the 80s and pop punk from the 90s - 2000s, with experimental beats creating a transient spatial energy with an aggressive edge.

There are many musical influences, across multiple genres that have influenced the album, Phase 2.
Moderation music influences include Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Silversun Pickups, Coldplay, Radio Head, Depeche Mode, David, Bowie, Pixies and many others.
